Automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser-The Next Big Trendsetter In Town
Although alcohol based hand sanitizers have been around since the 1960s, it has recently been gaining widespread popularity once again due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic spread across the globe. While hand washing might not always be at convenience when using public restrooms, or inside the classrooms, or at any given place considering recurring water scarcity in Nepal or lack of proper infrastructure for a water station for hand washing- alcohol based hand sanitizers have become the next go-to resource for sanitation.
In the recent wake of the pandemic, we have discovered that hard surfaces are significant transfer points for bacteria and viruses, and employ cross contamination. For this reason, Touchless Hand Sanitizer Dispensers are set to be the next trendsetters in the innovation and technology business. The automatic hand sanitizer dispenser is a unique piece of recent technology and can be placed in virtually any location and easily relocated when needed. Using infrared motion sensor technology, automatic hand sanitizer dispensers are able to provide hand hygiene in situations where hand washing is impractical or unavailable. In an age where people share more spaces and surfaces than ever before, touchless technology can help prevent cross contamination and create a positive impact on hand hygiene.

At softwarica, our faculty research team has built multiple automatic hand sanitizer dispensers for the usage of the staff and students in the college. Multiple sensors are used for this project. Before dispensing, the motion is detected using sensors like ultrasonic and infrared (IR) sensors. After detection of any motion or object, the servo motor starts and dispenses a handful of sanitizer. After multiple failed attempts and numerous more tried & tested, we finally succeeded in building this product effectively.
